What you may do without asking
- Quote or cite individual figures, short excerpts of text and a few rows of a table in articles, research, reports, presentations, newsletters and social posts, commercial or not.
- Summarize our content in your own words, including in answers produced by search engines and AI assistants.
- Download and use the Car Shipping Price Index files (CSV and JSON) with the credit described on the index methodology page.
When you do, please:
- Name Transportli as the source and include a visible link to the page the figure came from.
- Give the date. Our prices are estimates from stated dates and change, so say when the figure was published or updated.
- Do not alter the figures or suggest that Transportli endorses you, your product or your conclusions.

What needs our written permission
- Republishing, mirroring or translating whole pages, full tables, charts or datasets on another website, app or database.

- Selling, licensing or redistributing our data, other than the Price Index files above, or presenting it as your own.
- Using our content in a way that suggests Transportli endorses or is affiliated with you.

Search engines, AI assistants and other automated systems
- You may crawl the site as our robots.txt allows. Do not use automated means to get around the access rules we publish, and do not scrape the site at a scale that affects it. Our Terms of Service already prohibit scraping or copying the site at scale.
