Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of transportli.com, our quote tools, calculators and content, and any transportation services you request through Transportli LLC (“Transportli”, “we”, “us”). Effective date: October 11, 2026. By using the site or requesting a quote you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Who we are and our role

Transportli arranges transportation of freight and vehicles by independent motor carriers. Transportli operates as a property broker under FMCSA operating authority MC-1028499, USDOT 3262076. The carrier that picks up and delivers your shipment is an independent contractor responsible for performing the transportation. Unless we tell you otherwise in writing, Transportli does not itself transport your shipment. Carriers are responsible for their own drivers, equipment and insurance.

Quotes, rates and estimates

  • Rates, prices, transit times and capacities shown on this site, including sample rates, “typical” prices, rate tables, real-quote examples and calculator results, are estimates for information only. They are not offers or guarantees.
  • A price becomes binding only when we or the carrier confirm your booking in writing. Final prices depend on your exact route, shipment details, timing, capacity and added services.
  • Fuel surcharges are added to quotes where stated. Accessorial services such as liftgate, residential delivery, limited access, inside delivery, waiting time and redirects are charged separately.
  • Carriers measure and weigh shipments. If the actual weight, dimensions, class or services differ from what you gave us, the price may change.

Booking, payment and cancellation

Payment

You pay the price shown in your booking confirmation or invoice. At booking we tell you when your payment method is authorized or charged (for example at booking, on dispatch or on delivery) and which payment methods we accept. If a payment fails or is declined, we may pause, reschedule or cancel the shipment until you provide a valid payment method.

Additional charges

Some charges can only be known after booking, including reweigh or reclass adjustments, accessorial services (such as liftgate, residential delivery, limited access, inside delivery and redirects), waiting time and detention, storage, extra stops and address changes. We may bill these to you by invoice or to the payment method you gave us. We will give you the details of any additional charge on request.

Chargebacks and refunds

If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us first so we can look into it. If you dispute a charge with your card issuer, we may provide records of your booking and the services provided and may suspend further services while the dispute is open. Refunds, where due, are made to the original payment method and reflect any amounts that we or the carrier have already incurred.

Cancellation

Please tell us as early as possible if you need to cancel or change a booking. Cancellation charges, if any, are stated in your booking confirmation. If you cancel or change a booking after a carrier or driver has been dispatched or assigned, you may be charged for costs we or the carrier incur, including dispatch fees, dry-run or truck-ordered-not-used (TONU) charges, detention and any cancellation costs specific to that carrier.

Your responsibilities as a shipper

  • Give accurate and complete information about the shipment, including weight, dimensions, pieces, commodity, pickup and delivery addresses, contacts and access conditions.
  • Package and label the shipment so it can travel safely, and have it ready at the agreed time. Make sure someone is available to release and receive it.
  • Make sure you have the right to ship the items and that they are not prohibited (see below).
  • Review and sign the bill of lading, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing, and keep your records and photos.

Prohibited and restricted items

You may not ship items that are illegal, stolen, or that carriers prohibit, including hazardous materials unless declared in advance and accepted by the carrier, explosives, firearms and ammunition, live animals unless arranged through a pet transport service, currency and valuables that the carrier does not accept, and perishable goods unless the service is arranged for them. Carriers may refuse or return a shipment that violates these rules, and you are responsible for resulting charges.

Loss and damage claims

Carriers are responsible for cargo loss and damage in transit under applicable law and the bill of lading, and their liability is generally limited. Transportli is a broker, not the carrier, and is not the party liable for cargo loss or damage; we facilitate your claim with the carrier or its insurer.

To protect your claim:

  • Note any visible loss or damage on the delivery receipt or bill of lading before you sign, and take photos.
  • Report the loss or damage to us in writing as soon as you find it. Claim deadlines are set by the bill of lading and federal rules and can be short, so do not wait.
  • Keep the freight and all of its packaging until the carrier or insurer has inspected it, unless they release you in writing.
  • Send us the bill of lading, proof of delivery, photos, the commercial invoice or other proof of value, and any other evidence we or the carrier ask for, and cooperate with the carrier and its insurer.

We recommend declaring the value of your shipment and buying additional cargo insurance for high-value freight. We will help you submit a claim, but we do not guarantee its outcome or the amount recovered.

Tools, calculators and content

Our tools, planners, calculators, guides and comparisons, including van dimension figures, freight class estimates, cost-per-mile calculations and tire or parts shipping planners, are provided for general information. They use estimates and approximate figures that may be incomplete or out of date, and results depend on the numbers you enter. They are not professional, legal, tax, financial or compliance advice, and they do not predict or promise earnings or savings. Check the rules and figures that apply to your situation, for example with the FMCSA, your carrier or a qualified adviser.

Drivers and carriers

Programs for drivers and carriers, including Transportli Drivers, are subject to separate terms, applications and vetting. Nothing on this site is an offer of employment, a guarantee of loads or a promise of income.

Communications

Service messages

By giving us your phone number and requesting a quote or booking a shipment, you agree that we and the carriers handling your shipment may contact you about it by call, text and email, which may use automated technology. These messages include quotes, booking and pickup coordination, tracking, delivery, payment and support. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to service messages is not a condition of purchase where the law says so. Reply STOP to opt out of texts, or HELP for help. You can also contact us at support@transportli.com.

Marketing messages

We send marketing texts or emails only where you have agreed to receive them or where the law allows. You can opt out of marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email or by replying STOP to a text.

Reviews and submissions

If you submit a review, comment or other content, you confirm it is accurate and that you have the right to share it. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and use it in connection with our business. We may remove content that is unlawful, misleading or abusive.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site: do not scrape or copy it at scale, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, submit false or spam requests, or use it to violate any law.

Intellectual property

The site, its design, text, data, tools and logos are owned by Transportli or its licensors and are protected by law. You may view and use the site for your own business purposes. You may not copy, republish or sell our content or data without written permission.

Third-party links and services

The site links to third-party websites and uses third-party services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

The site and our content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee pickup or delivery times, carrier performance or that quotes will be available for your route.

Limitation of liability

Transportli is a broker. Carriers, not Transportli, are responsible for transporting your shipment and for cargo loss and damage, as described above. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Transportli and its owners, employees and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business, arising from your use of the site, from our services or from transportation performed by carriers. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or our own services is limited to the fees you paid to Transportli for the shipment at issue. This limit does not apply to the carrier’s own cargo liability and does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so these may not apply to you in full.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless Transportli from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, the information you provide, or the shipment you tender, including prohibited items.

Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the site or our services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and Transportli consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Before filing a claim, please contact us at support@transportli.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

Changes and termination

We may update these Terms by posting a new version with an updated date. Continued use after the update means you accept it. We may suspend or end access to the site or our services at any time for any reason, including violations of these Terms.
